The town of Craven Arms lies on the A49 some 20 miles south of Shrewsbury & 9 miles North of Ludlow.

From Craven Arms turn off at Craven Arms Hotel (B4368), signposted Clun.

At Long Meadowend turn left onto the B4367 & follow the brown tourist signs for Ashlea Pools Country Park to the village of Hopton Heath.

Ashlea Pools Country Park is situated approximately 300 yards on the right, south of the village green.
